The wide ruched yoke wraps around the waist and upper hips, forming horizontal and softly diagonal folds gathered at the sides. Below the yoke, a narrow central placket with seven round matching buttons runs down the front, emphasising the vertical line of the design. Soft gathering frames the placket around the hips, continuing into subtler folds further down. The skirt follows the body and tapers gently towards the midi hem. The fine embossed texture and subtle surface sheen highlight the warm tan shade and the shaping of the fabric.
